

Lincolnwood Park
The Town of Brownsburg purchased this 51-acre property from the Tague family in June 2018. Located just west of the intersection of Green and Main Street, the expansive acreage has the potential for many community amenities.
This page will be updated throughout the year as the community helps to create the overall site master plan for the next community park in Brownsburg.


Site Master Planning Process
Planning
Staff works with stakeholders to develop plans that take into account costs, maintenance, operational efficiency and impact on the community. Concepts are developed, discussed and consensus is reached.
Design
Specifications are developed which complies with all applicable regulations and codes at the local, state and federal levels.
Construction
Building on the final design is completed. Modifications to design may be necessary due to site conditions or other circumstances.
Complete
Park is built and regulatory inspections have been passed. The park is open for fun!
Current Stage: Planning
During the Planning Stage, staff will work with consultants and community members to identify park amenities. Priorities for amenities will be based on Brownsburg Parks’ Strategic Master Plan, which was created using survey data provided by residents. Based on the Master Plan, the park is expected to include:
- Open space for a variety of field sports
- Trails, including a connection to the White Lick Creek Greenway
- A potential indoor/outdoor aquatic center

January 2021: Preliminary Master Plan
