Campers Enjoyed a Summer Filled with Adventure!

Whew! Summer flew by this year and boy was it exciting and full of adventure! Brownsburg Parks Adventure Camp was the place to be! What makes our camp program the hot spot for the summer?

Adventure Camp brings kids ages 3-15 from all over Hendricks County together in age-appropriate groups, giving our campers the best opportunities to build new friendships and create lasting memories!

Unique, Interactive Weekly Field Trips

Every week from the end of school until it begins again in August, campers travel to a new destination in the Indianapolis area to explore! Some of our favorite locations visited this year were Bankers Life Fieldhouse for an Indiana Fever game, Grissom Air Museum, Fort Benjamin Harrison State Park, and the National Institute for Fitness and Sport!

Fun in the sun

Adventure Camp is not for the weary! We make sure our campers have plenty of opportunities to burn all their energy as they enjoy the great outdoors exploring nature, engaging in large group physical activities, games, and challenges each day in a safe and structured environment!  We don’t call Adventure Camp “one of the most active camps in Hendricks County” for nothing!

Summer Learning

We keep our campers’ minds sharp over the summer by making new discoveries with daily S.T.E.M. and S.T.E.A.M. challenges, arts & craft activities, and visits from a Brownsburg Public Library librarian! Campers also get the opportunity to learn something new from special guests. Some of our favorite special guests this year were Silly Safaris, a hot air balloonist from Hoist the Colours LLC., Snapology, and Camptown.

Don’t miss your opportunity to have your child adventure with us next year! Keep your eyes open in February 2020 to register for our 2020 Adventure Camp programs as these programs fill up quickly!
