Sgt. Jacque Bass has been promoted to Captain and will serve as the Investigation Unit Commander. Captain Bass has been with the department since July 2004 and has served as a detective since 2013. He has also been a member of the Emergency Response Team and the Bicycle Patrol Unit.
Sgt. Joseph Fults has been promoted to Captain and will serve as the Enforcement Unit Commander. Captain Fults was hired in July 2008. He currently serves as the Emergency Response Commander and recently served as the Department’s Training Coordinator. Throughout his career with BPD, he has also been active in the Traffic Unit and the Investigations Unit.
