Brownsburg Fire Territory will be enhancing the holiday season experience for families by introducing more interactive opportunities with Santa. As a result, the traditional practice of transporting Santa in the firetruck will no longer be continued. This decision reflects BFT's commitment to providing families with more engaging and exciting experiences.
BFT will offer virtual bedtime stories with Santa from each fire station, where children can listen to Santa read their favorite holiday stories, tour the fire station, and learn fire safety tips from their homes. Additionally, families will have the opportunity to take photos with Santa, and children will be able to meet Santa and help color gingerbread cookies & Santa drawings that will be delivered to local nursing homes.
"We are excited to offer these new interactive opportunities with Santa," said Brownsburg Fire Territory Public Information Officer Nina Powell. "While we will miss driving Santa around in the firetruck, we believe that these new experiences will allow families to engage with Santa in a more personal and meaningful way."
