The explorer program which is run through Learning for Life, is a program for young adults, ages 14 to 20 (must have completed the 8th grade) to learn more about a career field that they are interested in. The Brownsburg Police Department offers a Law Enforcement Explorer Program that meets twice a month and has a mini academy in July. We do everything from crime scene investigation, defensive tactics, use simulators, tactical gear, robots, drones, study criminal law, behavioral science as well as many other areas of Law Enforcement.
