Be sure to keep your eyes open as you walk through the wooded trail at Williams Park, you never know what you might see! Hiking is a great way to stay active and Maple Ridge Trail offers some of the best views of nature in Brownsburg!
Go on a Nature Scavenger Hunt
How many plants can you spot in our parks? Help us identify our flora and fauna in the parks by joining our free iNaturalist program. iNaturalist is an app that allows you to take photos of plants to identify them! This helps our Natural Resources team to record the resources our parks have as well as identify problem areas.
Take a Nature Class
Ready to learn more about our local wildlife and native plants? Want to learn how you can protect our environment? Sign your family up for one of our FREE nature programs! Afterwards, take a hike with our park naturalist and put your new knowledge to the test!
Looking to get more involved with our parks? Volunteer to help remove trash or invasive plants and learn more about why it’s important for us to keep our parks in pristine condition. Do you have a more unique project in mind? Contact Natural Resources Supervisor Greg Dickenson to get your volunteer project started!
