The LUNA Language Services interpreting team can provide language services in American Sign Language (ASL) to help the Town communicate with individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. On a case-by-case basis, on-site or remote video-telecommunication interpretation services will be provided to individuals who request these services. Braille interpretation of documents is also available.
Requesting Language Service
Residents who would like to take advantage of the new services are asked to make a request two business days ahead of the scheduled program, service, and/or meeting. If interpreting services are requested but not required, the Town asks for a 24-hour advance cancellation to avoid being charged for the interpreter's fee.
